Women at the Well

For Women: PEPPERTREE OF LIFE

Equipping Women to Live Lives of Relational Integrity & Healing
Women at the Well helps women face their relational idolatry. More importantly, it shows how the love of Jesus heals and frees women to pursue whole relationships and His purposes for their lives.

Covering topics such as intimacy, purity, forgiveness and freedom, each lesson includes questions for journaling, suggestions for personal reflection, and testimonies of other women who have walked the road to relational integrity.

Who Is Women at the Well For?
Although it is expected that some participants are coming for help with unwanted sexual struggles, Women at the Well also addresses other issues.

Excerpts from Women at the Well:

“The greatest need of a woman’s heart is to be loved and to give love. God created us to be relational. We were designed to not be alone, to be enjoyed and to give enjoyment. We long for intimacy and closeness, just as God does.”

“Joining with the true love of God reveals our attempts to find love from sources other than God. Our ways of giving and receiving love have become broken. For some, the patterns include substituting eating, shopping, unhealthy friendships, sexual experiences, romantic novels and moves for genuine intimacy. For others it may be an emotional or romantic ideal we’ve pursued; it may be a person with whom we are connected.

“Using activities, possessions or people to meet our relational and sexual needs have left our hearts restless, dissatisfied and empty. None of these idols have deeply satisfied. In response, some of us may have walled off our hearts, resigning ourselves to loneliness and a mistrust of people. Others continue relentlessly on a search for a love that satisfies. No matter what we have done, God’s welcoming arms are open wide. His love reaches down to the very bottom of our hearts and meets us in our deepest places of need.”
