If you’re a man on the road to freedom from unwanted sexualbehaviors and you want to go further in exchanging lust for love\, this group is for you. \nJoin this course to learn…\n\nThe two things needed to exchange lust for love in how you see.\nThe important differences between lust\, arousal\, and love.\nHow sexualized media intentionally works to blind your eyes from what’s in front of you.\nPractices to help you see through sex objects to the real people underneath.\nTwo approaches to understanding arousal (historical and archetypal)\, and how practicing both can lead you deeper into love.\nWhat God is really telling you when you see a woman’s body (Hint: it’s not\, “Look away!”)\nWhat a woman’s body is trying to tell you about God.\nHow God desires you to see your body.\nHow to guard against lust in your marriage and replace it with self-giving\, passionate love\, including…\n\nWhat to do when pornographic images come to mind during sex.\nPractices to help you stop using your wife as an “outlet” for sexual relief.\nHow Jesus provides a roadmap for both sexual intimacy and sexual abstinence.\nThe value of inviting the Holy Spirit into your marriage bed.\n\n\n\nCourse Requirements and Expectations:\n\nThis course is open only to men willing and able to invest the required time and energy into each of the six weeks\, including weekly in-person attendance (group meets Monday evenings at Regen’s office in Towson\, MD).\nParticipants must have previous experience in a recovery group for unwanted sexual behaviors (e.g. Awaken 360\, 7 Pillars\, Unwanted\, Husband Material Academy\, or similar.) Please reach out if you’re not sure whether your previous experience qualifies.\nGroup participation includes spiritual exercises to practice each week between sessions\, followed by written reflection on the practices.\nWeekly meetings will include honest sharing about participants’ experience with the practices and corresponding written reflections.\nParticipants are expected to interact in Marco Polo group between sessions.\nAll group participants agree to abide by Regeneration’s confidentiality policy.\nMinimum participants is 5. (Group will be postponed to a later date if minimum registration of 5 participants is not met one week prior to start date.)\n\nIf you cannot afford the full fee for the Men Who See group\, you may request a need-based scholarship here.We ask that you be prayerful as you consider your need and certify that all responses are true. Lastly\, this is a time-sensitive process as approval is required at least 48 hours before a group begins. After registering\, you willbe redirected to complete payment.
